Basic Invite: Taking Invitations to the Next Level

Basic Invite: Taking Invitations to the Next Level

One of the most common items clients agonize over for any event is the invitation. After all, it sets the tone for your guests and helps them know what to expect from both the written details to dress code to the overall look your event will have.

We recently had the opportunity to connect with the amazing team over at Basic Invite, an invitation company based out of Utah, with most of their business run online, & got a sneak peek at some of the ways they make choosing the right invites for any event a SNAP. Here are just a few of our favorite things about their products –

Basic invite boasts over 160 different colors for any invitation, and the ability to mix and match as you need for your particular needs. From pastels to vibrant shades, they offer a large variety of ways to match the theme for your wedding or event. And with no additional charge for these colors, they bring in a beautiful, customizable result that you can preview online, or have a sample set sent to you.

Basic Invite also offers a range of paper weights. From basic paper, to thick, sturdy cardstock, to soft-finish paper (my personal favorite!) or glossy photo paper, each invitation is sturdy and well-crafted. Abstract shapes, finishes, and corners are all available for invitations as well, and if you’re looking for something a bit more out of the box, they also offer real wood invitations!

With a huge range of different fonts to offer, Basic Invite developed a new software to accurately preview each online — including their myriad of script fonts, with all the curls and swashes the heart could desire. Each font is unique and brings a new layers to the invite, and is perfectly customizable to your needs.

Gold and silver foil invitations have been available on their site for a good while, but they’ve just introduced their newest foil line — rose gold. From the elegant simplicity of gold, to the timeless gleam of silver, to the modern edge of rose gold, each foiled invitation brings new depth and interest to the invite.

Most invitations come with free press-and-seal envelopes, but for those who want something different, their envelopes are also available in over 40 colors, including metallics, and come in different weights and sizes, to accommodate their different cuts and variations of invitations. Envelopes can also be ordered with the sample sent to you!

Overall, the range of customization is impressive in the Basic Invite site, as well as their instant preview technology and sample packages. Each invitation is truly as unique as you make it, and is easy to customize to your tastes and interests.
