All marriages are sacred …but not all are safe. It breaks our hearts knowing that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men in our country experience domestic violence in a relationship. This is why we proudly support North Texas Friends of the Family – an organization committed to helping spouses and families get out of unsafe relationships and creating fresh starts.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month – each year in October we give 10% of all wedding packages booked to North Texas Friends of the Family. It’s our way of making the world a little kinder and a lot safer for those in need.

Fete & Frivolity Events was created to offer a fresh, innovative combination of wedding planning, event planning, event décor, and event coordination services to clients living in the Dallas & Fort Worth area; to help them create memorable celebrations for milestone life events and holidays. We believe your event should be a reflection of who you are and what you love. We know our clients live in a fast paced world of busy lives and too many committments that don’t allow them a lot of time for their own thoughtful event creation. But life is too short not to celebrate – and celebrate well! That’s where we come in… Our committment to showcasing our client’s individuality by guiding them through the planning process and assisting in vendor selection, theme, & decor decisions is unparalleled in the DFW metroplex. We want to help you take your vision for that special event and make it a reality!


After years of planning elaborate celebrations for her children and assisting friends and family with their wedding details from planning through execution the idea for Fete & Frivolity was born on a sunny morning in May when Amanda Travis was working on designing thirty plus amazing centerpieces on a shoestring budget for her church Pentecost Luncheon. She told staff members as they popped into her work space to marvel at the creativity of her designs that she wished she could spend every single day of her life creating beautiful and memorable celebrations for people. With a little encouragement & a whole lot of reasearch & prayer she planned her first event for a client just a month later and never looked back!
